Gloria Victis How To Make Money

Once you entered the world of Gloria Victis, you have many choices, but first it is advisably to earn some bucks to get you started.

Early Money [ ]

To earn money, you can basically choose between selling items to players and the local town´s NPC merchants. You find the merchant NPCs scattered around the city of Dunfen or Mareley. Any NPC pays you the same money for items, regardless of their actual crafting business.

Selling to Merchant NPCs [ ]

You can sell about any item you find in the game world to the several Merchant NPCs in the starter towns.

If you are a beginner it is advisable to collect basic resources and sell them to the merchants. You collect them in raw numbers and you can get full stacks of 255 pretty fast.

Note: You need Tools in inventory to collect the resources.

Note: It is pretty useless to sell Ash or Sawdust to NPCs since you won´t get any money.

Selling to Players [ ]

Since crafting is very complex in Gloria Victis, a lot of basic materials are needed by players. Even advanced crafters are in constant need of materials.

The most useful item in crafting are Logs! Selling logs is easy money, and it is usually not very dangerous to collect them in the vincinity of the starter towns.

Note: You need an axe (eg. Jagged Woodcutters Axe) in inventory to be able to cut logs from fallen trees.
